Your house is just landscaped and looks beautiful, but you are worried it will not look like this forever. How do you make it last? As experts here at Good Fences Landscaping, we have some advice or you!

Let’s start with your Lawn.
During the spring, grass grows quickly. Don’t cut it short! Keep your mower blade high to avoid stressing any of the grass while maintaining its height. In summer, avoid mowing on extremely hot or dry days. Keep your grass green by watering it daily (granted there is a no water ordinance in place). During both spring and summer remember to pull weeds. Rake the leaves in the fall with occasional reseeding. Winter is the easiest! Only mow when needed.
Next on the list… Trees!
Tress add an amazing touch to your landscape. Therefore, it is particularly important they are maintained! During the spring, trees blossom. This a great time to trim and prune. Summer it is important to watch for disease or insects. Rake the leaves in the fall.
From Trees to Shrubs and Vines…
Shrubs and Vines add so much detail to your landscape. Your yard will flourish with them so make sure they are trimmed and cleaned. Remove unwanted growth in the spring and water to keep them from drying up in the summer. Vine and clematis can be trimmed to the ground. Honeysuckle and those alike need to be pruned to remove overgrowth.
And lastly, Flowers.
During the growing season, flowers need to be watered accordingly though some may be drought tolerant. As the flower on your plants begin to fade, pluck the dried-up ones. This helps the flower grow again.
